Maine takes action on global warming

Maine has a lot to lose from global warming. Fortunately, the state has begun to take action. In December, Gov Baldacci signed a historic agreement uniting a number of Northeast states to cut global warming pollution from power plants.

With higher temperatures and rising sea levels, Maine’s beaches are at the front lines of global warming.
